Ho Chi Minh City, September 12, 2026 – Over 200 parents, students, and working professionals attended Open Day: HKU Future Asia in Ho Chi Minh City to explore Undergraduate, Master’s, and MBA programs directly with representatives from The University of Hong Kong (HKU).
Going beyond traditional program introductions, the Open Day offered participants direct interactions with the admissions team, sample classes, alumni sharing sessions, and insights into the learning environment and career prospects in Hong Kong.

Studying in an Increasingly Connected Regional and Global Hub
During the event, attendees gained insights into Hong Kong’s advantages as an international financial and business hub, serving as a gateway connecting mainland China with key Asian markets.
With a global network of over 330,000 alumni across 150 countries, HKU offers students extensive opportunities to build connections that extend far beyond the classroom.
For Master’s programs at HKU Business School, a newly highlighted feature presented at the Open Day was the opportunity to participate in international study modules at HKU centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen (China), and Barcelona (Spain). These modules provide students with firsthand exposure to diverse business ecosystems, global markets, and leading enterprises.

Scholarships and Career Growth Opportunities for Emerging Talent
A major focal point of the event was the Dean’s Master Fellowship for postgraduate students, offering up to HK$275,000 (over VND 900 million) in financial support, which can cover up to 100% of tuition fees for exceptional candidates.
For prospective undergraduate students, HKU also offers full-tuition scholarships based on academic merit and leadership potential.

In addition to financial aid policies, participants were introduced to HKU’s vibrant global academic community. In 2025 alone, the university welcomed 114 international scholars from 18 countries across fields ranging from quantum technology to creative media—including prominent Vietnamese academics Professor Ngo Bao Chau and Professor Vu Ha Van.
A 1-Year MBA with Global Immersion Tracks
Designed for working professionals, the HKU Full-time MBA stands out for its intensive one-year structure combining academic rigor, career development, networking, and real-world corporate experience.
A key highlight of the program is its guaranteed international study track, offering academic immersion tracks in London, New York, Beijing, and Shanghai. The program features small class sizes, a highly diverse student body, and a distinguished faculty comprising world-class scholars, industry experts, and executive leaders.

A Comprehensive University with Interdisciplinary Opportunities
Beyond business education, HKU is a comprehensive research university comprising 10 faculties, 4 professional schools, and over 58 undergraduate programs with more than 100 majors and minors.
This academic diversity enables students to pursue interdisciplinary studies, encouraging cross-field collaboration and flexible learning pathways.
