Curriculum Structure
Single Concentration
The programme provides three specialization options:
- Accounting Analytics and Big Data
- Financial Reporting and Valuation
- Strategic Management and Corporate Governance
Students can focus on one stream based on their interests and career goals. Alternatively, students can graduate with a Master of Accounting without choosing a stream, as long as they complete 7 core courses, 1 thesis, and 4 electives.

Double Concentration
Students have the option to attain a degree with a double concentration in any two of the three areas, contingent on the successful completion of all core courses in both areas, along with three electives. Typically, students can accomplish a double concentration within one year.
Completion of a total of 14 courses is mandatory for students pursuing a double concentration, with an additional course fee of HKD 30,000 per course.

7. Remarks
- Not all of the courses listed above will necessarily be offered each year, and the above list is subject to further adjustments.
- The proposed concentration streams are contingent upon approval by the University Senate.
Admissions Requirements
For admission to the Master’s Programmes, candidates must meet the following criterias:
- Hold a recognized bachelor's degree or its equivalent;
- Provide statements from two referees assessing their suitability for the programme;
- Submit a TOEFL/IELTS* score if you are not from an English-medium university. The minimum score requirement is TOEFL: 80 | IELTS: 6 (with no subtest below 5.5).
While GMAT/GRE scores are not obligatory, a high score can be viewed favorably and prove advantageous, especially in marginal cases.
Typically, interviews are not required as part of the admissions process.
Please note that TOEFL and IELTS score reports are valid for two years, while GMAT score reports remain valid for five years. For instance, if you submit your application on October 2, 2020, only TOEFL/IELTS tests taken after October 1, 2018, are considered valid. Additionally, please ensure that you arrange to submit the official test report to us on time, as the testing authorities may not issue your report once the test result has expired.
